Winning

Hi everybody!

I just wanted to share my good news with you. First, I won the Gold Typewriter for my flash fiction piece, “Ghost Writer.” It’s an award given out every year for outstanding published texts by the League of Utah Writers. You can read it in the 2025 Utah’s Best Poetry and Prose.

Second, my fifth book, Shrouds, will be published November 5th with Wild Rose Press.

Someone is stealing bodies in Tenwich…
When Laurel’s mother’s corpse disappears, the family is determined to recover her and put the deceased to rest, but it isn’t so easy.
When a murdered man is found in the graveyard, Laurel is pulled into a deeper mystery—one tangled with
ghosts, hellhounds, and the no-good Connor Woodward.
Together, they must uncover the truth behind the missing dead. Yet, Laurel begins to question whether some secrets in Tenwich are better off buried.

I hope you’re as excited as I am for this! In the meantime, visit my book shop.
